中正紀念堂面積25萬平方公尺，位於台北市中心。中正紀念公園包括中正紀念堂、國家戲劇院及國家音樂廳三大部分。紀念堂分為兩層，上層為蔣公銅像，高16公尺，重75公噸，下層設有文物展示室、電影室、中正紀念堂圖書館、視聽中心等，蔣公紀念室之擺設均呈現當時之原貌。

The area of National Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall is 250 thousand square meters.It's located on the downtown of Taipei.This memorial hall include the National Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall,the National Concert Hall and the National Theater.

The main hall has two floors.The topping story is the statue of Chiang Kai-Shek.The height is 16 meters and the weight is 75 tones;the lower one has the exhibition room,the audio-wisual center and the memorial library.The memorial libary.The memorial room of Chiang Kai-Shek remains the origianal aooerance.

目前忠烈祠、中正紀念堂 、國父紀念館以及大溪慈湖頭寮的衛兵交接 ，自97年2月1號開始，由原本的單一軍種駐防改為三軍儀隊聯合駐防的形式，中正紀念堂的交接時間從早上9點開始到下午5點，每一整點準時交接，時間約15分鐘，輪值的順序為陸→海→空，上哨時由當日的執勤班長(禮兵長)帶上哨。

清晨六點的升旗和下午六點十分降旗儀式，只要沒有刮颱風、下大雨，都可以看到隊員們平日紮實訓練下的升降旗動作及整齊劃一的四人小組槍法，欲前往觀賞的民眾可以規劃時間前往，感受一下不同於衛哨交接的儀隊魅力。
